We love our pets and would do anything to keep them healthy and happy for as long as possible. But have you ever tried to get a reluctant cat to swallow a pill? Or watched a dog lick the peanut butter off the capsule you had carefully hidden inside it, then spit it back out? And since pets come in different sizes, the proper dosage for a Chihuahua will be different than it is for a Great Dane.
Compounded medications for pets can be flavored or disguised in liquids or treats to “make the medicine go down.” We also do a wide variety of medications for transdermal application when “by mouth” isn’t working. We compound many types of animals from cats and dogs, to horses, to llamas and even kinkajous!
